WDC urges the passage of Senate Bill 0144. SB0144 requires Maryland law enforcement agencies and officials to timely grant or deny petitions of helpfulness to law enforcement known as Form I-918, Supplement B Certification (I-918B Certification) on behalf of undocumented victims of crime who are applying for U Nonimmigrant Status under federal law.
