WDC was honored to host Jill Wine-Banks, MSNBC legal analyst and author of The Watergate Girl, on October 19 at the Imagination Stage theater in Bethesda. The program was preceded by a complimentary cocktail reception in the lobby of the theater where Ms. Wine-Banks mingled with the crowd. The program was a very interesting dialogue between our president, Tazeen Ahmad, and Ms. Wine-Banks who entertained us with some very interesting stories of what it was like to be the only female on the Watergate prosecution team 50 years ago. She also answered questions concerning the current Trump prosecution activities.
Following the program, Ms. Wine-Banks remained to talk with audience members and autograph copies of her book.
WDC acknowledges Events Chair, Lavontte Chatmon and her team for all their hard work in arranging the venue, catering and overseeing all the details that went into making this such a successful event.
