Support HB0296 “Disclosure of Price and Cost Share for Prescription Drugs

WDC urges the passage of HB0296. This bill will provide additional transparency and

cost-savings for patients at the pharmacy counter and require pharmacists to disclose

to a patient in a manner that is accessible to the patient (1) what alternative options a

patient has for their prescription; (2) what the cost is under their insurance (if they are

insured); (3) what the cash pay price would be.

SB0144 requires Maryland law enforcement agencies and officials to timely grant or deny petitions of helpfulness to law enforcement known as Form I-918, Supplement B Certification (I-918B Certification) on behalf of undocumented victims of crime who are applying for U Nonimmigrant Status under federal law.
